As a proud advocate for the arts in education in Arkansas, the Thea Foundation is passionate about communicating the importance of the arts’ role in a student’s life. This charge, along with the support of many in the Argenta community and the state, has led the Foundation to start Thea’s Art Festival. With its comfortable neighborhood feel and presence of a historic Main Street, Argenta is a natural setting for a free festival that celebrates the arts and, more importantly, makes them available to the public. While the Festival itself is open and free to the public, money raised through sponsorship of the festival will help support the arts in schools across Arkansas.
Main Street will be blocked to vehicular traffic from Broadway to Sixth Street, but the trolley will continue to operate. Local businesses will be open, and many will have street-side displays and offer specials.
