Thea’s Art Closet Donation
Many teachers receive an allotted budget that is too small for purchasing the necessary art materials for teaching class and must use their personal money to supplement what they need. Some art teachers do not receive a budget of any kind.
The quality education must include courses that teach self expression. Students gain confidence in these subjects, and this confidence is invaluable to them for their success in school as well as all areas of their lives.
$1,500 will support an elementary school
$2,500 will support a high school
Support the school in your community with a donation to the Thea Foundation Art Closet today!
Art Across Arkansas
Art Across Arkansas is an educational program created and sponsored by The THEA Foundation and the William J. Clinton Foundation. The mission of the program is to interest, inspire, and involve young people by placing fine art in the schools for a school year. Every participating school will receives an exhibit placed in the hallway where all students can live with art everyday. The art must be rotated each year, giving the 176 schools a new piece of art to enjoy and be inspired by. Your donation will help pay the $11,000 annual cost for rotation.
