What a Great Experience – To Study with the BEST!

Bill Hastings

October 8th and 9th, 2011

Arkansas students enjoyed the opportunity to spend the day with a Broadway star!  Bill Hastings was in Little Rock and Fayetteville on October 8th and 9th to share his expertise in Jazz Dance.  Dancers expanded their knowledge and grew in their technique while working in the style of the great Jack Cole.

With a grant from the Arkansas Arts Council the THEA Foundation, Arkansas Dance Network, and the Dance Coalition in Fayetteville partners every year to bring Mr. Hastings back to Arkansas.  The attendees learn choreography and tips from one of Broadway’s best!  He inspires the dancers and gives them the tools to become better performers.

Mister Hastings has performed in over forty musicals and plays on Broadway and in national touring productions.  Bill danced under the acclaimed Bob Fosse on Broadway for years and now teaches master classes in New York and around the world in such places as the Royal Copenhagen Ballet.
